Simple Language Translator
Making the web a simpler place.

Description:

The app simplifies complicated texts into simple language in German. It operates using language models that we trained for this purpose, solving the task step by step.
Our specialized model is capable to surpass both ChatGPT-4o-mini and ChatGPT-4o in all benchmarks for simple language, such as measures for complexity or adherence to the rules of simple language (punctuation, hyphenation, etc.).

Learnings:

We found that high-quality data was key to get the most reliable results. Furthermore, weak-to-strong and weak-to-weak generalization helped us leverage the limited data to get the best possible results.

Podcast Editing:
Transforming audio into podcasts.

Description:

We developed custom AI models to edit podcasts and extract marketing materials. The podcast was segmented into chapters (~10 minutes) and clips (30 - 120 seconds) that could be shared on YouTube. We also scanned the podcasts for highlights that have a high probability to become viral as short-form content on Instagram or TikTok. Finally, we identified and removed unpleasant noises and filler words from podcasts, getting them ready for realease in an end-to-end fashion. All custom AI models (mostly CNNs and transformers) developed in-house from scratch from scraped data.

Learnings:

We learned that podcasts are an exciting domain in which you get to work with both audio and text data, each of which can be utlized to depending on the context of your task. We took special care in our data collection to have a wide range of samples from diverse genres of podcasts in order to provide the most reliable service we can.

Do you offer backend-only or is frontend development possible?

Our services are fully customizable and will be tailored to our client`s specification, which may or may not include frontend.

Which tech stack do you use?

We work with the technology that fits the best with our clients needs. Typically, we built python backends (fastapi, Django) and use modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js and Astro). We are backed by a network of talented frontend developers in case we can't provide the knowledge in-house.

Do you offer maintenance plans?

We like to devote a certain amount of time to our clients after the initial deployment to (1) ensure our systems run as expected or (2) hand our projects over to your experts.
